▮ 瓦煲臘味飯｜RM 22｜✯ : 6.5 ▯ 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘱𝘰𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘹 𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦 The claypot rice, despite being a Michelin-recommended dish, was disappointing. We ordered it and it was prepared quickly, and had a smoky flavour, but it didn’t taste as good as we expected. It was already baked before serving, so they suggested that we could eat it right away. However, it was overcooked and the rice was slightly too damp and lacked the signature flavour and dryness of claypot rice. Fortunately, the amount of waxed meat was generous, and they provided a small plate of salted fish to let customers adjust the seasoning to their liking, which was worth mentioning.
▮ 海鮮豆腐｜RM 10｜✯ : 8 ⭐️ ▯ 𝘚𝘦𝘢𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘥 The deep-fried tofu was better than the claypot rice. It had a crispy outer layer and a smooth texture inside. The fried skin was thin and the tofu was fragrant, making it a delicious snack.
▮ 香港菜心｜RM 8｜✯ : 7 👍🏻 ▯ 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘺 𝘴𝘢𝘮 A regular plate of stir-fried Choy Sum with wok flavour, but not as flavourful as the ones in Hong Kong’s dai pai dong. The fried garlic added a nice kick to the dish.
