Compared to its sister shop “Ramen House Konjiki Hototogisu” in Hong Kong, I found the taste in Singapore a bit disappointing and not that impressive. The broth is not particularly fragrant and not very fresh and sweet, with a relatively simple taste. The noodles have a decent chew, but overall, there is nothing special about them. However, the char siu is quite delicious, with thick slices and a good balance of fat and lean meat.

I was attracted by the spare ribs on the menu, but was a little disappointed with the portion size and the taste. The flavour was average, and it was not as delicious as the char siu. I would recommend you to try charcoal char siu instead.
