Nhong Rim Klong: Review & Photos
We didn’t have to queue when we arrived at around 11am on weekday. The restaurant was still quite empty at that time. We ordered crab omelette and fried mantis shrimp with garlic.
One of the most famous dishes here is the crab omelette. The portion of crab meat is truly generous. You can taste the freshness and sweetness of the crab meat, and the eggs are also fragrant and flavourful. However, it’s slightly greasy and there were some small crab shells or egg shells in it.
The portion of mantis shrimp was quite large in which two of us almost couldn’t finish them all. They were fried with a generous amount of garlic, giving off a delightful aroma as soon as they were served. However, it seems to me this was made with frozen mantis shrimp instead of the fresh ones, as the texture was a bit rubbery.
