Welcoming atmosphere with great homemade burgers
Although Hong Kong boasts many renowned burger joints, with some even making it into the top 50 worldwide, have you ever tried a burger with a Hong Kong twist – made with a pineapple bun? Recently, we visited Kennedy Town to sample two burgers that used pineapple buns as their buns. Are they truly unique and delicious? Keep reading to find out.
▮ 經典手打羊肉漢堡｜HKD 108｜✯ : 7.5 👍🏻 ▯ 𝘏𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘻𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘣 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘳 Savour the homemade New Zealand lamb patty in a pineapple bun! The sweet pineapple bun complements the savoury filling, and the crispy crust adds a unique texture. Another standout feature of this lamb burger is the use of lamb meat, which is flavourful without being gamey. However, the meat can be slightly tough, and a juicier texture would enhance the overall experience.
▮ 經典手打牛肉漢堡｜HKD 98｜✯ : 7 👍🏻 ▯ 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘤 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘧 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘳 Satisfy your craving for a classic beef burger with a twist – a beef patty served in a pineapple bun! The bun’s crispy crust offers an extra layer of texture to the burger. The burger is flavourful, but not as juicy as expected. The menu states the patty is cooked to 80% doneness, but it tasted fully cooked to me.
