The grilled chicken is very tender and bursting with flavour, however I would expect more spices and flavour as a Turkish dish. This lunch set also includes a serving of rice and vegetables, which is a good combination with the chicken.
In addition, Turkish rice pudding (sutlac) is served as the dessert. It boasts a subtle rice aroma, a pleasing sweetness, and a slightly sticky texture.

This marks my first experience with Turkish coffee and I was even offered a chance to try to make it myself! The coffee utensils showcase a distinctive Turkish design, and the flavour is genuinely enjoyable. It shares similarities with an Italian espresso, but there is coffee sediments at the bottom (named “telve” in Turkish) because the coffee ground is not filtered after brewed.
A delectable piece of pistachio cotton candy accompanies the coffee, boasting a delightful pistachio flavour. While it may prove overly sweet when enjoyed alone, it matches perfectly with the Turkish coffee!
