The portion was generous even for 200g, but unfortunately, the flavour was slightly lacking and the texture of the unagi wasn’t as firm as we had hoped. Additionally, there was some disappointment in the contrast between the enticing aroma from the charcoal grill and the taste of the grilled eel. Despite these shortcomings, the rice was the standout feature with its enjoyable chewy texture.
