The observation deck is situated on floor 38 of JR Tower at a height of 160 meters. The floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an unobstructed 360-degree view of Sapporo, including some of Sapporo’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Odori Park, Sapporo TV Tower, and Hokkaido University. On clear days, visitors can even catch a glimpse of the majestic Mount Teine and the Sea of Japan.
Visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea at the cafe on the observation deck while admiring the stunning scenery.
A souvenir shop is also available for visitors to purchase postcards and replicas of art works displayed in the JR Tower. (Note: no international stamp is for sale here)
